Built For Complex Structural Steel Delivery

NEACH is a Queensland structural steel fabricator and installation contractor with more than 50 years of experience delivering steel work for major Australian projects.

Built on 50 Years of Delivering Structural Steel Projects.

Major projects require more than fabrication capacity.

They require reliable systems, clear communication, accurate documentation, qualified personnel and the ability to identify risk before it affects the programme.

NEACH combines established manufacturing experience with advanced processing technology, certified management systems and practical construction knowledge. We work closely with contractors, engineers and project teams to deliver steel packages that are buildable, traceable and ready for installation.

Our role is not simply to manufacture steel. It is to protect the programme, support the project team and provide confidence throughout delivery.

The NEACH Advantage

Risk Mitigation & Value Engineering

We identify design and site challenges early with ECI, providing practical advice on materials and sequencing to prevent costly redesigns later in the schedule.

Advanced Processing

An experienced team and workstations that are set for success. In addition, we operate advanced machinery to ensure precision and quality.

Compliance Leadership

Maintaining rigorous AS/NZS 5131 CC3 standards and MRST78 pre-qualification to ensure first-pass approval and seamless QA handover.

End-To-End Capability

From construction modelling to installation. NEACH manages structural steel packages across the complete delivery cycle.

Our Story

  • 1975

NEACH began in 1975 by Henry “Spud” Garbacz and his wife, Liz.
Starting as a boilermaker operating from a panel van and trailer, Spud contributed to many early Sunshine Coast projects, including the Cooroy Brickworks, the Cooroy Commonwealth Bank and The Hastings accommodation development in Noosa Heads.

  • 1989

In 1989, the business joined with North Coast Crane Hire and became Noosa Engineering and Crane Hire.

This expanded the company’s fabrication, lifting and construction capability and established the foundation for larger and more complex project delivery.

  • 2011

In 2011, Ryza Garbacz assumed ownership and repositioned the company as NEACH.

Under Ryza’s leadership, the business has expanded its systems, certifications, technology and workforce to meet the requirements of Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors and major government projects.

  • Today

NEACH delivers high-compliance CC3 structural steel packages across Queensland while remaining grounded in the principles on which the business was founded: accountability, craftsmanship and long-term relationships.

Strengthening Australian Manufacturing Capability

NEACH strengthens Australia’s infrastructure capability through investment in local jobs, apprenticeships, engineering pathways, modern equipment and skilled regional manufacturing. By developing people and retaining specialist knowledge within the industry, we help build a more capable and resilient construction supply chain.

Leadership

Ryza Garbacz is a civil engineer and International Welding Engineer with more than a decade of experience leading NEACH through sustained growth and operational development.

His focus has been to build a structural steel business capable of operating confidently within complex infrastructure and major-project environments.

This has included investment in advanced processing equipment, certified management systems, digital production workflows, welding capability, apprenticeships and long-term workforce planning.

“Our ethos is to operate in complex environments with trusted partners, earning repeat business through consistent performance. We welcome the opportunity to show you our factory and demonstrate our capabilities in more detail.” - Ryza Garbacz
