NEACH is a Queensland-based structural steel fabricator founded in 1975. For over five decades, we have delivered certified, complex steel packages for Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, government clients and the Australian Defence Force — across infrastructure, health, defence, resources and commercial sectors.
We hold AS/NZS 5131 CC3 certification, MRTS78 pre-qualification and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditation. Our typical contract range is $5M to $20M. Our facility processes over 200 tonnes of structural steel per month.

Our Journey
Founded in 1975 as Noosa Marine and General Engineering by Henry (Spud) Garbacz and his wife Liz.
Starting with humble beginnings as a boiler maker and driving a panel van and trailer, Spud was instrumental in many well-known Sunshine Coast structures, including the Cooroy Brickworks, Cooroy Commonwealth Bank, and ‘The Hastings’ accommodation in Noosa Heads.
Spud combined with North Coast Crane Hire in 1989 and became Noosa Engineering and Crane Hire.
In 2011, our current Managing Director - Ryza took over the baton, taking full ownership and rebranded the company to NEACH.
Under Ryza’s leadership NEACH has grown to service tier 1 and 2 industries and maintains year on year growth and leading performance in the Australian steel industry.
