Why NEACH Switched To Tesla

At NEACH, we’re always looking for practical ways to improve how we operate and moving our project managers’ fleet to Tesla was a decision backed by both logic and values.

Our vehicles support regional project delivery across Queensland, so safety, reliability, and efficiency are critical. With rising fuel costs, strong resale value, and low maintenance, the Tesla Model Y stood out as a smart investment.

It’s also part of our broader shift toward smarter, lower-impact operations. Our 100kW solar system powers our workshop and produces enough surplus to charge our fleet, reducing fossil fuel use and making full use of the clean energy we generate. As part of our environmental accreditation, we’re committed to ongoing improvements in energy use and emissions, and EV’s play a practical role in that. To date, our system has saved over 200 tonnes of carbon, the equivalent of planting more than 5,000 trees.

Safety is non-negotiable at NEACH, whether we’re lifting steel or heading to site. Tesla’s advanced safety features — from real-time collision alerts to emergency braking — align with our standards and give our team confidence on the road. Just as importantly, the move has sparked internal pride and engagement. Our team values innovation, comfort, and performance, and sees the investment as a reflection of our commitment to lead from the front.

We’re not waiting for a mandate. For NEACH, switching to EV’s is a strategic move that supports our people, our projects, and the planet and proves that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.
